Aircraft
How to edit aircraft information, update make/model/year, manage status, and archive aircraft.
Each aircraft has a status shown on the fleet dashboard:
The status updates automatically based on inspection due dates and current Hobbs/tach time.
Open squawks are tracked on the aircraft's Squawks tab. An open squawk will affect the checkout verification flow to alert the pilot before departure.
See Reporting & Resolving Squawks for details.
You can add free-text notes to any aircraft (operating limits, special instructions, fuel type reminders). These appear on the aircraft detail page and in the checkout verification dialog.
If you need to remove an aircraft from the active fleet without deleting its records:
Archived aircraft are hidden from the main fleet view but their flight logs, inspections, and maintenance records are preserved.
Deletion is permanent and removes all associated records. To delete an aircraft, contact help@aloft360.com.
