Editorial standards

Our guides help aircraft owners, club administrators and flight schools make practical decisions. Aloft360 is a software vendor, and our articles should make that relationship clear.

Useful detail

Explain the task, show a concrete example where it helps, and state what the reader can do next. Length should follow the subject. Repeated introductions, generic superlatives and unsupported claims about what most operators do do not help a reader.

Sources and limits

Use FAA, TSA and other primary references for regulatory statements. Distinguish a requirement from a suggested operating practice. A guide or software status does not replace aircraft documentation, qualified instruction or the responsible person’s operational decision.

Examples and experience

Label illustrative costs and sample scenarios. Do not present them as market quotes, customer outcomes or firsthand experience. Named experience and testimonials require the person’s confirmation; otherwise use a team byline and straightforward explanation.

Product comparisons

Describe a workflow that a reader can test. Verify plan inclusions and current prices before making specific comparisons. Do not imply that a feature label proves regulatory compliance or that a competitor lacks a capability without supporting evidence.

Updates and corrections

Keep article URLs stable and show an updated date when the content changes materially. Published dates do not imply that regulations, prices or product availability will remain unchanged. We welcome specific corrections with a supporting source.

Commercial links

Guides may link to Aloft360 or to other products. Affiliate relationships should be disclosed where relevant; an ordinary merchant link does not mean Aloft360 earns a commission. Our buying-guide policy explains the approach to product selection and affiliate links.
